The TEF Tous Publics is a standardized French language test developed by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris IDF). It assesses general proficiency in French. Internationally recognized, it is valid for two years.
Assesses proficiency levels from A1 to C2 of the CEFR. Includes mandatory sections: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. Optional sections: writing and speaking.
Registration must be completed through authorized testing centers; fees vary by country. The exam lasts between 2.5 and 4 hours, depending on the sections selected. Results are available 2 to 3 weeks after the exam.
Useful for education, employment, or immigration. Allows you to obtain an internationally recognized certificate of French proficiency. Suitable for everyone, regardless of their level.
