Découvrir le français niveau débutant A1
Level A1 is the first stage in learning French. This is the “discovery” level, which enables you to acquire the basics of the French language. At this stage, you’ll learn to communicate simply in everyday situations.
Skills developed at A1 level
Level A1 develops four fundamental skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing in French. Learning activities generally last between 80 and 100 hours of training. You’ll learn to interact simply with friendly speakers.
Learn French at A1 level
Learning can take place in a language school, with a private tutor or independently with adapted resources. Classes focus on concrete situations with basic vocabulary and simple grammatical structures.
Objectives and practical applications of level A1
This level enables you to get by in simple everyday situations: introducing yourself, shopping, ordering in a restaurant. It’s an ideal basis for discovering French culture and starting to communicate when traveling or with French speakers.

All our subscriptions are automatically renewed, which means they automatically renew at each chosen subscription period. However, you can cancel them at any time, with no commitment. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, without any fees or penalties.
Monthly subscriptions are charged each month, while 3-month subscriptions, although their price is displayed per month, are billed in a single payment for the entire period.
