General presentation of the TEF Tous Publics
The TEF Tous Publics is a standardized French language test developed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île-de-France (CCI Paris IDF). It assesses the general level of French language proficiency. Internationally recognized, it is valid for 2 years.
Level and structure of the TEF Tous Publics
Evaluates levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR. Includes compulsory tests: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, vocabulary and structure. Optional tests: written expression and oral expression.
TEF Tous Publics exam process
Registration with approved centers, cost varies by country. The exam lasts between 2h30 and 4h, depending on the papers chosen. Results available 2 to 3 weeks after the exam.
